Greater
Faithfulness: Deepening Discipleship and Compassion
through
Understanding Personality Type
(includes introduction to the Enneagram)
Retreat Leaders: Ann Proescholdt-Shaw and Stephanie Crumley-Effinger
Held at: Quaker Hill Conference Center
Richmond, Indiana
The word “enneagram”
comes from the Greek words “ennea
meaning “nine” and
“gram” meaning “model.”

Used for centuries, the Enneagram
is a powerful model of
human development that describes
nine distinct personality
types, each with its own mental
and emotional paradigm.
These types make up the lenses
through which we see and
act in the world.

Ann Proescholdt-Shaw and Stephanie
Crumley-Effinger will lead worship and learning sessions
providing an introduction to the Enneagram approach to understanding personality,
grounded in
Christian faith from a Quaker perspective.
Ann and Stephanie are recorded Friends ministers and members of the Enneagram
Professional
Training Program in the Narrative Tradition, developed by Helen Palmer
and David Daniels.
Ann has served as a pastoral
minister and is a family therapist with a private practice in New
Castle, Indiana.
Stephanie is a member of the faculty of the Earlham School of Religion
in Richmond, Indiana,
and was previously in campus ministry at Earlham College and Wilmington
