Evans House
Built in 1855, the Evan's home was the center of a Quaker family's life. Several homes were located up on the ridge and their mill was located down in the valley. For many years the Evan's home was known for its warmth and hospitality. In the 1940's its transition was begun into the conference center of today. The main floor has conference and meeting rooms, the dining room, and the kitchen area. The second floor has 7 bed rooms, with up to 13 overnight guests, sharing a dormitory bath and shower room, one for the women and another for the men. The third floor has a small meeting room or meditation room available for our guests, completed with a grant from Wayne County Foundation in the spring of 2010. High—speed wireless internet service is available in the Evans House.

Solitude Room
The Solitude Room, located at Woodard Lodge, is a room we designate for personal retreats. It is a nice large room with a queen bed and a twin bed, small sofa, mini-refrigerator, microwave and self contained bathroom and shower. This room also has independent heating and air-conditioning for your convenience. This is an idea retreat room for a time of personal reflection and meditation. No fee is charged for this use, donations are welcome but not required. This is one way we feel we can help minister to our community by providing a quiet and safe place to reflect and meditate.
Amphitheater
On our grounds we also have an outdoor amphitheater that can seat over a hundred guest. Nestled in the woods along a bank, it provides an excellent location for outdoor meetings, small concerts, worship services, and small plays. It is easily accessible and located near the Evans House.
Picnic Shelter
The picnic shelter is located just west of the Evan's House and has a 30 ft X 32 ft concrete pad under roof with picnic tables and benches for about 40 guest. This facility is ideal for outdoor parties, meetings and congregational gatherings. Food service is available from our kitchen and can be served on site.
